London and Overseas Area of NAFAS' Floramania Show

As Editor of Flora International Magazine I regularly get invited to shows and festivals the length and breadth of the country, and this time it was time to take a trip to London Borough of Bexley.

In the fabulous Tudor house that is Hall Place, the London and Overseas Area of NAFAS hosted a Floramania show where arrangers in a total of 10 classes showed off their expertise.

Invited designers, including Simon Lycett, were asked to design an exhibit using the title 'My Favourite...' and were able to choose a film, a book or a musical, and their designs were dotted about the lovely gardens of Hall Place.

Such incredible talent; the picture shows my favourite design; Class 6 Be Our Guest which was arranged by Teresa Allard and June Garnett. The clinched a deserved First!
