John's 60th Birthday Party

Since John's birthday date - 21 March - is also the first day of spring, I couldn’t resist making all the table decorations out of glorious spring flowers such as daffodils, tulips, hellebores and grape hyacinths. I placed these in spring-like lime green felt baskets.

I also made a large picnic hamper out of spring flowers to place on a tall pedestal by the entrance to the birthday venue; St Wilfrid's Church Hall in Burgess Hill.

And Lucas made a beautiful golf cake for his golf fanatic father!
