Chloe & Tom's Wedding

Chloe and Tom tied the knot outside in the beautiful setting that is Highley Manor. With pastel florals against a backdrop of far-reaching Sussex views, it was the perfect place to capture their special moment.

And their wedding day broke a weather record too becoming the hottest September day ever recorded in Sussex (plus 33 degrees in the shade)!

Chloe carried an ethereal bouquet of Rosa 'Doris Day', Rosa 'Peach Avalanche', Rosa 'Creamy Twister' as well as dahlias, Astrantia, Matthiola, grasses, wax flower and Eustoma 'Alissa Apricot'. Her four bridesmaids carried smaller versions which looked stunning against their steely blue dresses.

Tom and his four best men, plus the dads, had glorious buttonholes in creamy whites to complement the pastel theme while mums had pearl wrist corsages again in creamy hues.

The wooden structure of the ceremony area was bedecked in the same pastel florals as was the nearby swing; a perfect Insta spot.

For the wedding breakfast, the top tables had three horizontal table centres while the remaining eight guest tables had a medley of vases with pastel florals.

The cake too was a dreamy pastel vision and I have to confess that making this florally beautiful in the hotel's fridge room was an absolute joy; very nice to cool down a but from all that heat outdoors!!

I am very grateful to Jan, Linda and John for all their assistance during the day, and the days before, helping to prepare everything with me to ensure that the day went without a hitch.

Here's wishing the happy couple all the very best for their future life together as husband and wife.
