Jo & Craig's Wedding
Lovely Jo and Craig tied the knot at Field Place in Worthing on a snowy March afternoon and despite the rather unseasonably cold weather, their beautiful flowers added lots of spring cheer.
It was an absolute joy for me to work with such wonderful colour combinations and my thanks go to Jan Crouch who helped me get everything in shipshape the day before.
When I delivered the flowers to Findon Manor where Jo was getting ready with her two bridesmaids, it was so wonderful to see how totally smitten she was with them all. Always such a relief! Not being biased or anything but how could she be anything but...
The bouquets featured Rosa 'Avalanche' (how apt!), Rosa 'Sweet Avalanche', Rosa Snowflake (how apt again!), Ranunculus, Delphinium, Statice, Hypericum, Hyacinthus and Eucalyptus Parvifolia. And what a perfect colour match the Delphinium was for the bridesmaids' dresses too.
The five buttonholes included Rosa 'Avalanche' with Statice and greenery while the corsages for the two mums looked pretty with fluffy feathers as well as a medley of white blooms.
And as always, a Floranina heart featured in the big day too!
Here is wishing the happy couple - the new Mr and Mrs Langridge - all the very, very best in their new journey as husband and wife.
Talk about a white wedding with all those snow flurries, eh...
